I watdh your show daily and respect all of the differing views. Today, however, I was a little dispaired. Over half of your show was eaten up with Gov. Palins pregnant daughter. My view is this. I really think that Gov. Palins daughter has her right to privacy, but nobody on your show brought up the subject of Palins (if is elected as vice president) wants to abolish abortion, even if a girl/woman is a victim of rape or incest. I think that women fought too hard for the right of a safe abortion rather than a chop shop, which miss Elisabeth needs to get a better understanding of the old day chop shops. Palin also believes that abstinence is the only answer. I am a single mother of three adut daughters (ranging from 21 to 30 years old. When they were going to school, there was a form sent home to the parents to either let your child be a part of sex education, or not. This is a choice made upon the right of the parent and child. It terrifies me to think that any person in government should have the right to determine what is best for my children and grandchildren. I give applause to Palins young daughter for her decision, but I must say, as a victim of rape as a teen, I was very happy that I didn't have to be revictimized for nine months, and that their were clean capable clinics to help me in my time of need. It's bad enough to go through a time like that and in all of these years later, I relive that horrendous time, I couldn't imagine having to feel that beast inside of me for nine months. NOBODY HAS THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE FOR ANOTHER PERSON. ALL CIRCUMSTANCES DIFFER.
