Send!

SEND! is a publication of Gospel For Asia. The magazine is published four times per year, and includes articles on mission work in Asia. It also has articles on individuals whose lives have been changed by Jesus Christ, and other missionary activities. Its editor-in-chief is K.P. Yohannan. Many of the names and places in the articles are changed for security reasons.

Aux-send is a feature of a professional multi-channel sound mixing console which provides an effects loop, allowing the insertion and level control of outboard audio processing to be added to an audio source or channel within the mixing console. This feature is typically found on mixing consoles that are in recording, concert and broadcast settings.

Send, Surrey

Send, a village in the English county of Surrey, reputedly got its name as a corruption of the word sand, which is still extracted for construction and other purposes at pits nearby. Send is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 where it is named Sande.

The X-Files is a Peabody, Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning American science fiction television series created by Chris Carter, which first aired on September 10, 1993, and ended on May 19, 2002. The show was a hit for the Fox Broadcasting Company network, and its main characters and slogans (e.g., "The Truth Is Out There", "Trust No One", "I Want to Believe") became pop culture touchstones. The X-Files was also the first TV show to be released on DVD, re-inventing the way the media was viewed; no longer just for movies, but for television shows as well. The X-Files is seen as a defining series of the 1990s, coinciding with the era's widespread mistrust of governments, interest in conspiracy theories and spirituality, and the belief in the existence of extraterrestrial life.
