Well-established in Europe with the original creator of online private sales, vente-privee.com Fact: date=July 2009, this trend moved to the United States in 2007 with the launch of companies such as Savvy + Co., Gomatta Girls, Editors' Closet, Beyond the Rack, RueLaLa, Gilt and Ideeli.
