Orphan: date=February 2009 Salud (Bodega Salud) (from Sp. salud "health") is a Spanish-Latin American restaurant at Tuomionkirkonkatu, Tampere, Finland. The restaurant was founded on October 23 1974 by Hannu Wiss after returning from sailing in Spain. Wiss brought many current classics to the menu, including the Salud pepper steak, which was voted as the best restaurant food in Finland in 2005.Fact: date=April 2009 Also the beef steak El Toro, the fillet of lamb and Salud's paella have been popular classics. For more exotic dining, Salud offers alligator, ram testicles, rattle snake, or kangaroo. Salud is a meat-oriented restaurant. In the 1990s, the restaurant moved to its current, larger facilities. Next to the restaurant is the Tapas Café, which is also located in the Tampere Market Hall.
