- Microsoft Dynamics AX (formerly Axapta)

Problems with "service packs"
The public release of Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) to both the Microsoft Download Center and Windows Update was delayed due to incomplete compatibility between it and the Microsoft Retail Management System. The already released Windows Vista Service Pack 1 also contained this error, so its release through Windows Update was halted as well. Microsoft promised a fix but gave no estimate on its completion; until that time Microsoft RMS users were recommended not to install the "service packs" until a "hotfix" (a bugfix or patch) was available.
