Kamran (PerB: کامران ) is a Persian given name commonly used in Iran, Afganistan, Pakistan and other countries with Persian influence. The word Kamran means prosperous in Persian however commonly considered to mean successful in Urdu as well. The name is sometimes transliterated as Cameron or Kamron.
