FOOTPRINTS is the annual national level technical festival of the The Faculty of Technology & Engineering, the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. The Faculty of Technology & Engineering, MSU, is one of the premier engineering schools in the state of Gujarat. FOOTPRINTS '09 is scheduled to be held on the 20th, 21st and 22nd of February 2009.
Since its inception in 2001, FOOTPRINTS has grown in stature with every passing year and has proved its credentials as the most popular technical festival of Gujarat and one of the prominent ones of India. The primary objective behind FOOTPRINTS is to provide an ideal platform to young engineers for the purpose of testing their technical prowess and enhancing their ingenuity. The festival comprises of technical and non-technical paper presentations, model presentations, various workshops, lectures and quizzes. In addition to this, the fiesta also includes social awareness campaigns, various on-the-spot competitions, a stock exchange, a gaming zone and loads of entertainment.
Over the years, FOOTPRINTS has evolved into a perfect interface between industry and academics, paving the way for the entry of young engineers into the highly demanding industrial environment. FOOTPRINTS is a place where science and technology are celebrated and young people dream of changing the world of tomorrow.
