It first aired on Comedy Central in the United States on October 7, 2009, and in the UK on October 9, 2009. The episode was written and directed by series co-founder Trey Parker, and was rated TV-MA L in the United States. The episode was watched by 2.68 million households according to Nielsen ratings.
