Constance Marie, is an American actress, best-known for her role as Angie Lopez on the sitcom George Lopez.

Early life

Constance Marie later appeared in Gregory Nava's film My Family. She played agent Toni Brigatti on Early Edition alongside Kyle Chandler. She was featured in the 1997 biographical film Selena opposite Jennifer Lopez in which she played Selena's mother, but under heavy make-up to make her look significantly older than the only four years younger Lopez. Another film credit was Tortilla Soup, in which she played a divorced mother.

In 1997, she was cast in the short-lived NBC sitcom Union Square. She has guest-starred on many television shows such as FOX's Ally McBeal. She played Angie Lopez on the ABC sitcom George Lopez until its cancellation in 2007. From 2002 until 2004 she played Nina Gonzales on the critically-acclaimed PBS miniseries American Family. She made a guest appearance as herself on an episode of Statler and Waldorf: From the Balcony. She has volunteered as an actress with the Young Storytellers Foundation.

Personal life

Marie is engaged to yoga coach Kent Katich. They have a daughter, Luna Marie, born on February 5, 2009. in Santa Monica, California.
