Vivato Networks, Inc. is a wireless equipment manufacturer that provides networking equipment for complete wireless broadband solutions. Vivato has invented indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi Base Stations that provide up to 2.5 miles of coverage outdoors to standard off-the-shelf wireless devices. Hundreds of wireless long range connections beyond 10 miles to a Vivato are possible when clients use outdoor high gain antennas. Vivato's Base Stations use phased-array smart antennas to facilitate transmission over highly directed, narrow beams. Vivato headquarteres is located in San Francisco. Company research and development center is in Spokane, Washington. In September, 2007 it was announced that the Virginia-based technology company Catcher, Inc. would acquire Vivato.
