Here is what users have to say about Genealogy
Genealogy is one of the most popular and fastest growing hobbies in the world. Much of this popularity is due to the internet, which has made researching a lot easier and more accessible. A wealth of resources are available online including mailing lists, discussion forums, websites, and even census records. There are several popular software programs available for recording genealogical information including Family Tree Maker, Legacy, The Master Genealogist and Rootsmagic. Several applications exist for the Palm and Windows Mobile platform as well.

It is said that getting to know one's ancestors leads to getting to know yourself, and that is certainly true. Exploring your family history can reveal all kinds of delightful and amazing stories. The folks that came before us, especially those who were Pioneers, were hardy folks and revealing their lives is often very rewarding.
