If the Pre is a hit, Palm's down-and-out days could be forgotten as quickly as, say, the Foleo. But if Pre falls flat, further reducing confidence in Palm and its wares, the company may never recover. I spent some time with the Pre at CES a...

Released May 30, 2007, the Foleo was intended to be a companion augment the smart phones. Declared a flop and arriving dead on arrival, production on the device stopped in September 2007. Ausustek picked up the ball on the netbook and in tu...

I wouldn’t think it’s like Palm’s Foleo but more like a more powerful iPhone. “The device, which I’ve held mock ups of, is going to have a 10 inch screen, and when I saw it looked just like a giant iPhone, with a black back– although that ....

What happens when a mobile phone company makes a netbook? You get a "mini-laptop" that's connected to the brink. (The epically failed Palm Foleo notwithstanding, of course.) Nokia's Booklet 3G has (duh) 3G HSPA connectivity, a SIM card slot...
